DamienIndex | Time Under Chaos | Player Characters | Damien   Damien stands facing half sinister, his face grave as if he is about to begin to discuss a serious matter. His dark, wavy hair is gathered at the neck by a polished steel ring, and a matching smaller steel ring hangs from his left earlobe. His left hand bears three steel rings, one set with an opal and the other two simple bands. His right thumb also has a steel signet ring. Between both hands, only six fingers are outstretched and his arms are across his chest. Damien is depicted wearing a dark wool coat with steel buttons, dark trousers which are bloused into calf-high well polished dark leather boots, and a white ruffled shirt whose cuffs protrude from his coat. The hilt of a stiletto protrudes from the top of his right boot. Hanging from his belt is a watered steel flamberge rapier with most of the wavy blade exposed, and the hilt of a matching watered steel dagger partially shows beneath the coat and between its tails. A raven perches atop a wool tricorner hat which sits on a bench behind Damien. Colors: Dark clothing and steel, especially watered steel. Symbol: A winged serpent, always in black, often black enameled steel. Number: Six. (Related to the NPC Johann Payne.) Johann has drawn a trump of Damien. Some suggest Damien is Johann's older brother, father, or lover. His own parentage is uncertain, though it is believed he has taken the Pattern. Johann once remarked that Damien taught him how to use his family powers. Both Johann and Damien spent significant amounts of time on Victor Earth after the invasion of Amber City. Since returning to Amber, he has become involved in trade. He has positioned himself politically in much the same way that Bleys and Flora have. Damien now lives in what was Sophie Payne's home in Amber. He practices Twisted Tree Style martial arts, and carries a flamberge rapier at his hip.  Damien's Threads can be found here. |
