Sister, Sister: Clytemnestra, Helena, and AmbaIndex | Time Under Chaos | Game Logs | Sister, Sister (continued from Alone Together) Helena dropped Amba's hand and rolled to her feet easily. She opened the door and smiled. "Ness! Come in..." Amba came to her feet also, but stayed in the background, watching as Helena met her sister at the door. She pulled the door open the rest of the way and stepped back, allowing Clytemnestra and page to enter. The latter staggered in, finding the nearest available raised spot to deposit his items with a groan. Cly smiled and patted him on the back. "Goodness, Ness, did you bring your entire wardrobe?" Helena laughed. She walked over and starting pulling dresses from the pile and laying them on the bed to view, busying herself while she waited for the page to leave. You'll have to show us how that's done here." "Then we'll have to hurry. Lena, dear, what kind of horse have you two been riding? It smells a little like you've rubbed yourself with slices of raw lizard." Amba glanced at Helena, worrying her lower lip, then looked down, saying nothing. "Wyvern. Blame Jurt. I do," Helena replied. If she felt insecure about this, she hid it well. "Well. Never you mind," Cly said. "That's what this," and she shakes one of the cases with her hand, "is for. Let's get some baths drawn and get you two cleaned up. I'll work on your hair while you do, and we can talk about what Aunt Flora mentioned." Helena nodded in agreement, then glanced at Amba. "Sound all right to you?" Amba nodded. "That's fine," she said simply, now looking at the cases curiously, her attention finally drawn away from the overwhelming array of clothing. "What's in there," she ventured. Cly winked. "Let's go see, shall we?" And she herself led the way to the baths, talking about the social mores of Amber with every step...
