While her parents schemed to wed their beautiful but headstrong daughter to a better positioned lord in House Martell, Rosemayre fell in love with the gruff, bear like Boren and could not be dissuaded. Marriage to a knight in the field did not provide Rosemayre with even the modest luxuries to which she had become accustomed but to the dismay of her family Rosemayre adapted quickly and quickly produced two children: Sander Hextall and Johanne Hextall. Complications in the birth of her third child, Byron Hextall, took Rosemayre's life. |
