With few prospects beyond following her in mother’s footsteps, E’lbram turned her disadvantage into a way out of a life of servitude. She studied in the Rebman kitchens at a young age, always asking questions and getting underfoot. The royal chefs finally noticed her talents and took her under their wing. Once she had accumulated enough experience and recipes, E’lbram took what little money she had and travelled to the the Five Corners ward of Amber City. Once there, she opened a modest café, specializing in Rebman cuisine; Café Magnolia. Between her culanary skills and shrewd business skills, the young woman soon owned one of the most popular restaurants in the city. Two of her regular guests were Gilliam Eynhollow and his niece, Solitaire Helgram. She fell in love with the two early on, and when she heard about their dark past, her heart went out to them both. They were soon fast friends and she would babysit for the young, shy girl. She rather enjoyed the role of ‘godmother,’ but enjoyed Gilliam’s company more. Recently, she has been trying to drop hints about her feelings for the clockmaker. Unfortunately, she isn’t sure if he feels the same way and is too afraid to push him futher. |
