Background

Born from a family line of Oread on his mother's side that act as the shamanistic guides to a nomadic tribe. The tribe looks to his family for guidance on where to settle for the season, and to lead rituals to insure a good harvest year. While the humans of the tribe are often a rough and tumble lot, his family are reserved, stoic, and act as a voice of reason and methodical thought for the tribe that was always listened to with absolute reverence. Despite the druidic teachings and lessons in meditation provided by his mother, he never took to that lifestyle, preferring to use his strength to outmatch the other tribe members in competitive brawls. But as his mother grew older, she finally lost patience and hope of ever taming his more fiery nature, and told him that his younger brother would instead be brought up to eventually take on the mantle of the shaman guide for the tribe. As a last ditch effort to tame her child, the mother told him to leave the tribe if he wouldn't take a more serious role, in hopes that he would eventually get this boisterousness worked out of his system. A little hurt at his mother's ultimatum, but also relieved to have a chance to shine in what he feels he does best, he left to make his own mark on the world, hearing of cities with plenty of people in need of some extra muscle.
