It sits on a hill leading up from the coast to the desert, and is unlike the cities further inland, in that it receives regular rains. Farmlands dot the southern part of the city, and much of the shipments from Fureur Bight are the crops from these fields, in addition to shipments from its port. Four roads lead out of its unwalled constraints, each with a checkpoint where customs are paid and a processing fee to get in the city is exchanged for a stamp and papers. Catfolk comprise most of the guard, and though a tower overlooks the city, it is less draconian than other cities.
