This might lead one to believe that blood will flow and sex will be had, but such is not the case. (Modern young children's fantasy might easily be placed in this realm). The reason dragons kidnap damsels is because they are lonely. Sometimes appendicitis causes rash action... anything but that a dark heart causes maliciousness is the accepted. Mushroom circles lead to a pocket Arcadia, where the nature spirits involve themselves in their own rituals and doings, but the workings are a mystery to residents of Haraden, who are sealed from it without the gifting of food and glamour from the nature spirits. No Amberite, Chaosian, nor human has been known to enter Haraden that isn't either Chadwick or Flora. It is entirely possible that Flora has complete control over the Shadow, and has kept her child out of harms way using it. The natural residents of Haraden are the Dunlins. |
