BACKGROUND/HISTORY: Ashly is second daughter (older only 45 seconds from her fraternal sister Tori) of Christophe and Amelia Windhaven. As a child she was the apple of her parents eye (especially Amelia's). They always pandered her daughter's whims and Ashly's life was a true paradise. Everything changed a day before Tori and Ashly's 8-th birthday. The girls went shopping with her mother to the city for birthday presents. Ashly dallied as usual with leaving the candy shop (Tori and Amelia went ahead) and that probably saved her life. She heard noise and scream. When she ran out from the shop she saw mommy laying on the street, covered in a blood. Before Ashly had a chance to understand what happened a shop owner grabbed the girls and pulled into the shop. Amelia was one of the first casualties of Teresan's civil war. Tori was also a victim of it. As a result of seeing her mother's death she stoped talking. Lord Christophe wanted her other daughters to be safe so he decided to send Gabrielle and Ashly to Aquila. The girls went to the Convent of Sacred Heart. Gabrielle being older quickly finished it and returned to their home world. Despite her father's promises Ashly's family haven't moved to Aquila. The girl pretended that everything was ok, but deep down in her heart she felt abandoned by her loved ones. Slowly she learned to live by herself. At the age of 18 she finished the Convent shool.
