Whether or not Professor Advocat is simply a nobleman from the Courts of Chaos or a True Daemon in human form remains one of the pressing questions amongst students in his sorcery class. In either case, his skills with Magick go far exceed those of most professors at the school. The library contains dozens of his papers on Magical Theory, published over the last forty years of service. He is the current Head Master of the House of Leaves, the most prestigious college of Magick at Faiella University; if not this end of Creation. Although his teaching techniques are sometimes questionable—if not downright dangerous—it cannot be denied that his students go on to become some of the most influential Will-Workers in civilized society. Although he normally acts like a gentleman, the devil lurking beneath his handsome face rears its ugly head from time to time. However, in accordance with school regulations, he refrains from harvesting souls while on campus grounds. That in no ways means he isn’t willing to accept one or two whilst enjoying his nightly brandy at The Flaming Duck. |
