December 23, 49SA (in Awakenings: Cole):
- I traveled to Amber on Her Resplendent Flame, where I had the good fortune to meet Rhea.
- I told her about a previous visit to Amber, during which I had tea with Princess Flora and knocked over the pot.
- After the train arrived, I was introduced to Rhea's brother, Martin.
- An invitation to brunch with Rhea's parents was mentioned, but if brunch occurred, it was not recorded. (Cole would have jumped at any chance to meet Rhea again, and if no chance was provided he would have tried to arrange one. Perhaps this is a future pre-game thread, or maybe something else happened to prevent it: GM's call.)
- I experienced my first Awakening during my walk to my dorm room. I opened one of the coffins, trying to help an old lady, but condemning her to death through my ignorance instead. I killed a flamewoman, but slipped and knocked myself out.
- Silk? and Rita? found me unconscious in the street, and I woke up in The Flaming Duck. Silk and I walked each other home, getting better acquainted. Perhaps too much so. Silk offered me a tour of Death Alley, and I have no intention of taking her up on it.
April 3, 50SA (in A Pressing Issue)
- I met Gillian Talbot (and Queen Ginger) at the Blue Bucket, where I now have my laundry done by Syd and Mury for three crowns a week.
- I also met a number of Blackcloak officers, including Gillian's friend Lt. Maes Hughes, and his superior, Commander Coteaz?. Lt. Maes asked me to meet with him in the future, but I'm in no hurry to do so.
- I discovered that Gillian was awakened, like myself. I kinda freaked her out.

- Managed to get in trouble in my very first fencing class with Colonel Kel, but made friends with Satonaka and Arkela? anyway.
- I took Satonaka and Arkela to the Flaming Duck, where we decide to go sailing over Rebma at sunset. Silk invited herself along.
(The following Saturday), 50SA (in In His House at Rebma)
- We had a great time boating until we were attacked by an avanc.
- The RFS Berehynia--under the command of Baron Joao Galitizin, Poruchik Kapeka?, and Kapitan Lorna?--drove off the the avanc and took us down to Rebma. I told Joao that my mother owed him a favor.
- I met Joao's mother, Baroness Beatriz Galitzin.
- I discovered that Joao, too, was awakened. He told me about our counterparts, which are visible in mirrors during the darkest hour. And we also discovered together that the darkest hour perhaps only occurs in proximity to Castle Amber.

- I made it on to the school fencing team.
- I faced off with Cynwyd Barimen to determine who would be team captain.
