  1. Any player found to be under 18 will be unsubscribed. This is an ADULT GAME! Threads may feature scenes of an adult nature.
  2. No PCs (Player Characters) under the age of 16.
  3. No erotic scenes that in any way involve NPCs (Non-Player Characters) under 16.
  4. Please submit your character bio/profile to the Moderator email address for approval before posting.
  5. At no time, under any circumstances are you to dictate the actions of another player in your posts.

This includes their thoughts, facial expressions and emotions. If you reach a part where a character's reaction is required...STOP, and wait for them to respond.
Some NPC's (Non-Player Characters) are fair game, before making moves with them, contact whoever is controlling the NPC first and see how he/she feels about it.
  6. Please try to avoid "one or two line posts".

We want to encourage the usage of joint posts due to interaction. Especially with scenes where it seems like you just can't get it together to do more than one or two line posts. This doesn't have to be the norm of posting, so don't think it is a requirement, but we want to encourage it for those players interested in doing it. There will be times when flow of play will require that individual posts be allowed, but joint posts will help for preplanned scenes and situations.

Example: Two players have a scene planned for a gunfight. They work the details of the shooting offlist back and forth by sending individual posts among each other. Once the outcome of the scene is agreed upon, then one of them post with complete post with the following above the main body: JOINT POST DUE TO OFFLIST INTERACTION as well as any WARNINGS needed due to content of post.
  7. Warnings are to be put above the main body in case the post deals with violence, sex, or anything else you think might be offensive.

A warning simply looks like this: "WARNING! Contains sex." or "WARNING! Contains violence." or "WARNING! Contents might be offensive." If the post contains more than one of the above, just say so. "WARNING! Contains sex and violence" is a legit warning.
  8. Any actions that involve killing another Player Character, or maiming another Player Character, or having any kind of sex with another Player Character, are to be pre-negotiated.

Example: Your Player Character Two-Finger Bill has a golden opportunity. He's found the Player Character Giselle LaBelle unconscious in a hotel room. He could tie her up and have fun with her voluptuous body....but you need to ask whoever is playing Giselle first. This is to avoid conflict and to make sure everybody has a good time.
  9. Actions involving Non-Player Characters are not necessarily pre-negotiated.

It is allowed to kill someone else's NPC without asking. It might be polite to ask, though.

A piece of advice: If you have an NPC that you are starting to really like, get him/her registered as a PC instead. Saves us all a lot of grief and keeps the game growing.
  10. There is a five-day rule. This means that if you are involved in a thread and you have not posted for five days or more, it is all right for those that share the thread with you to move your PC or just ignore him/her and move on. This is to ensure that one PC can't hold a lot of other people up.
  11. All players are allowed to create NPCs.

NPCs do not have to be registered by a Moderator. But NPCs are not supposed to be powerful PCs in disguise. If you have an idea for a great Alien General, make him a PC. NPCs can be anything from an innocent bystander that you write into a gunfight to have some extra drama, to your PC's loyal handyman who will be seen in the game off and on. If this game was a movie, the NPCs would be all the very small parts and all the extras.
  12. Please state location in the subject header of your posts.

That makes it easier for everyone. Example: "Aquila: Cilla's ordeal" or "Vegas: At the market" are both good headers.
  13. You are not answer to a post without being "tagged".

Every post ends with a "tag" aimed at those involved (example: [tag Mahoney] or [tag everyone in the room] or are both good tags).

You are also not to enter a thread without asking those involved in the thread first. If you are unsure exactly who are involved, as some threads are large and involve a lot of people, write to one of them and ask him or her to introduce you to the others.

You can start your own thread (or threads) anytime you like. Just please remember to send your PC character sheet to the moderator addy before you post with a new PC.

If you interact in a thread without asking for permission first, or if you answer to a post without being tagged, your PC is "lawless" and can be hurt or killed without your permission by the others involved in that thread or tag. Be warned. This is only to ensure that complicated threads with lots of intrigue aren't disrupted by mistake.
  14. It is considered poor game form to make use of player information that your character cannot actually know.

Remember that your character does not necessarily know the information that you have as their creator. Your character does not have your opportunity to read the posts!

For example, Thomas the Rhymer might tell Lady Eleanor that he has never met One-Eyed Oswald. The player of Lady Eleanor knows full well this is a lie - there have been numerous posts telling of how Thomas and Oswald have secretly met and plotted. But, if Thomas is a good liar, then Lady Eleanor will have no reason to suspect.
  15. Any disputes should be referred to the Moderators, who will deal with them off- list and give their adjudication.

The Moderators' decision will be final. Any players involved in such disputes will be sent full reasons for the decision that is made.
  16. The biggest and most important rule of all HAVE FUN!
